We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and results-oriented Sr. Creative Ops, Budget Manager to join our team. This role is critical in leading creative budget management, optimizing supplier and agency relationships, overseeing contingent workforce strategy, and enabling operational efficiency through data, tools, and emerging technologies. You will partner closely with Resourcing Management, Project Management, Tools & Systems, and Creative Production to build scalable mechanisms that fuel creative excellence and surpass marketing goals.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead the strategic planning, allocation, and management of creative budgets to ensure financial efficiency and maximum business impact.
* Prepare and present budget reports and insights for senior leadership and finance to guide decisions.
* Establish and measure KPIs that drive alignment to organizational goals.
* Work closely with teams and senior managements to collaborate on budget activities, roadmap prioritization, project tiers, resource optimization, and strategic initiatives such as AI & automation.
* Lead partnership with creative agencies, internal global studio, and contingent workers suppliers; conduct rate reviews and onboard new agencies in collaboration with Procurement.
* Provide high-level oversight of contingent workers workflows, classifications, resourcing frameworks ensure compliance and efficiency.
* Synthesize financial, resourcing and operational data to guide staffing plans and business strategy.
* Oversee creative and project management tools such as DAM, Airtable, Smartsheet, and Figma in partnership with Tools Operational Manager, ensuring continuous optimization.
* Lead initiatives to streamline tools, workflows, and budget mechanisms; audit inefficiencies and drive scalable solutions.
* Champion adoption of new processes and initiatives through clear communication, targeted training, and ongoing support to drive organizational alignment and impact.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- High proficiency in financial budget management for a marketing, creative team or creative agency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
