    Job Title: Concrete Finisher

    Job Description

    We are looking for a concrete finisher to handle responsibilities such as setting forms, leveling and smoothing concrete using various tools, applying finishing techniques such as texturing or sealing, and ensuring proper curing to prevent cracks or defects. The finisher will often work on sidewalks, driveways, floors, and other structural elements, requiring physical strength, attention to detail, and knowledge of materials and techniques to produce high-quality results.

    Responsibilities

    + Set and align forms to prepare for concrete pouring according to specifications

    + Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand and power tools

    + Apply finishing techniques such as texturing, edging, and sealing

    + Monitor curing process and make adjustments to ensure proper hardening

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in conducting inspections and compliance checks.

    + Experience in documentation and report generation using a computer.

    + Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.

    + Minimum of 1+ years of experience with previous employers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in petroleum compliance inspection is a plus.

    + Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

    + Ability to work outside year-round for 40-60 hours per week.

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves working with a team of over 50 technicians, inspectors, and administrative staff. You will primarily work independently at various gas stations, with initial training alongside an experienced inspector. The position requires travel up to 150+ miles for certain projects, and inspectors are considered 'roaming', operating year-round in all weather conditions

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
