    Job Title: Concrete Laborer

    Job Description

    Under the guidance of the Superintendent, the Production Technician plays a pivotal role in supporting the Block Department, specifically focusing on molds and models. This position ensures that all mold-related activities meet the company’s stringent standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Verify molds to ensure they meet company standards.

    + Set up molds for production processes.

    + Repair and clean mold components to maintain operational efficiency.

    + Troubleshoot and repair molds by reading schematics.

    + Utilize tools such as grinders, wire wheels, chipping guns, welders, oxyfuel cutting torches, pressure washers, and both hand and pneumatic tools.

    + Document mold wear and damage on mold inspection sheets.

    + Assist with maintenance projects, including parts changes and machine operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift operation

    + Welding

    + Mathematical skills

    + Previous machine operation experience

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a plant environment characterized by moderate to very loud noise levels, dust, and dirt. The position involves working near moving mechanical parts and at high, precarious locations, as well as exposure to outdoor weather conditions and non-weather related heat or cold. There is a risk of electrical shock and vibration, requiring the wearing of mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE).

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, Idaho.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
