Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate is responsible for the staging and transporting of goods, assisting on sorting line, and performing general warehouse duties. This role requires moving, storing, and distributing goods to the line and/or warehouse while inspecting bundles as they come off the line.

Responsibilities

+ Stage and transport goods efficiently.

+ Assist on sorting line and perform general warehouse duties.

+ Move, store, and distribute goods to the line and/or warehouse.

+ Inspect bundles as they come off the production line.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

+ Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

+ Possess a good work ethic and maintain a strong attendance record.

+ Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production, general labor, and packaging.

+ Skills in inspection, loading, and packing.

+ Familiarity with forklift operation, cleanroom processes, and assembly.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a wood veneer distribution center with a very clean warehouse environment. The team is small, comprising less than 20 employees. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime.

This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
