    Transportation Design Engineer (HYBRID)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Transportation Design Engineer with a passion for civil engineering and a dedication to excellence. The ideal candidate will either possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license or be close to obtaining one within the next 3 to 6 months. This role is perfect for someone with a minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation design, and we offer a fully remote opportunity for candidates with a PE license and over 5 years of experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the initiation of transportation design projects.

    + Prepare construction documents for review by the design lead.

    + Engage in roadway and highway design for both urban and rural areas for local agencies.

    + Understand the project lifecycle and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress and deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of experience in transportation design.

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + Experience in roadway and highway design.

    + Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.

    + Effective communication skills with clients and stakeholders.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 3-6 months.

    + Experience in roundabout design is a significant advantage.

    + Familiarity with design software such as Civil 3D and Bentley InRoads Suite.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
