Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee a variety of accounting and finance functions, with a focus on project-based job costing and revenue recognition. This role will involve managing compliance with accounting standards, ensuring accurate reporting, and enhancing operational efficiency. Based in Dallas, Texas, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial success of dynamic projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of job costing and project-based financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with project estimators to establish effective budgeting and cost tracking processes.

• Oversee expense reporting systems, including training team members and ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Prepare and review actual-to-date financial reports, consolidating data for distribution to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and support billing processes for ongoing projects.

• Monitor and document change orders, ensuring proper approvals and integration into financial reports.

• Manage multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including filing returns and tracking nexus status.

• Supervise lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842 standards.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in project accounting and revenue recognition (ASC 606 compliance).

• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax regulations.

• Expertise in lease accounting and familiarity with ASC 842 standards.

• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Ability to manage expense reporting systems and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
