    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing support to healthcare providers through patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring exemplary patient care and satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + The Medical Assistant supports the flu clinic by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for flu vaccinations, administering vaccines, documenting patient information, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

    + Demonstrated patient care skills.

    + Demonstrated PC skills.

    + Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.

    + Understanding of healthcare delivery processes in the medical office.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Completion of an approved Medical Assistant Educational Program or one year of related experience within the last five years.

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts dependent on location, ranging from early mornings to late afternoons (6 AM to 6 PM, 7 AM to 5 PM, or 8 AM to 12 PM). Shifts can vary from 4, 6, 8, 10, to 12 hours.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
