    Electrical Design Engineer – Data Center Projects

    About the Role:

    We are hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support high-profile data center projects. This role involves performing detailed engineering calculations, designing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with local and national codes. You’ll work closely with architects and engineers to deliver multimillion-dollar projects, using AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce high-quality drawings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform engineering and load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection.

    + Design layouts for electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, panels, emergency generators, UPS systems, and power distribution.

    + Calculate power and lighting loads for new and existing building systems.

    + Conduct code reviews and analyses based on local and national standards.

    + Design life safety systems such as fire alarms.

    + Manage time and budget to meet project deliverables and schedules.

    + Use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to complete electrical drawings.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + 5–8 years of experience in electrical design for building systems.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit.

    + Experience with load calculations and managing small to mid-sized projects.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Work Environment:

    + Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, remote work on Fridays.

    + Collaborative team of architects, engineers, principals, and support staff (15–20 people).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
