Job Title: Laboratory Assistant Location: Wartburg, TNShift: Monday-Friday / 7am-4pm OR 8am-5pmJob Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Laboratory Assistant to support our sampling and shipping operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate preparation, packaging, and documentation of sampled materials for delivery to external laboratories, customers, and vendors. You’ll collaborate closely with lab and production teams, customer service, and onsite representatives to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

+ Utilize SAP software to coordinate shipments and deliveries

+ Prepare and hand off samples to customer representatives

+ Ensure accurate sampling of customer materials and generate Sampling Protocols

+ Communicate effectively with external labs, vendors, and internal teams

+ Troubleshoot issues related to material classification, including SDS and Dangerous Goods

+ Maintain shipment tracking and documentation using Excel spreadsheets

+ Support shipping and receiving with sample storage, movement, and inventory

+ Perform data entry of lab results and execute Usage Decisions

+ Assist in assigning ILOTs and managing sample material movement in SA

+ Adhere to the HPMN 4-eye principle for quality assurance

Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong analytical mindset with ability to track trends and generate reports

+ Mindful and detail-oriented approach to data processing

+ Ability to adapt workflows based on evolving requirements

+ Familiarity with logistics operations and documentation

+ Experience creating Proforma commercial invoices

+ Proficiency in FedEx Ship Manager is a plus

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
