    Job Title: Quality Technician Job Description

     

    The primary function of this role is to assist with inspections, including receiving and in-process inspections, along with the associated paperwork such as reviewing, completing, and filing. Depending on the candidate's expertise, additional responsibilities may be offered, such as involvement in our Quality Management System with tasks like processing Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) or Change Requests, aligning with their strengths and career development goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

    + Support manufacturing processes by identifying and resolving quality issues in collaboration with production teams.

    + Manage the calibration of equipment and ensure tools and instruments are within specification and properly documented.

    + Oversee receiving inspection processes, ensuring that raw materials and components meet required quality standards before use in production.

    + Assist with investigating and documenting non-conformances, deviations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

    + Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, calibration logs, and other quality-related documentation.

    + Collaborate with engineering and other cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing projects.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.

    + 3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.

    + Experience with inspection techniques (e.g., visual, mechanical, dimensional) and the use of inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).

    + Familiarity with calibration processes and equipment management.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and work instructions accurately.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with quality management software.

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills.

    This role requires working onsite every day.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
