A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Sr Tax Analyst at MKS, you will be responsible for collecting and processing the quarterly provision calculations from foreign subsidiaries. You will also support the preparation of the U.S. taxable income calculations. In this role, you will report to the Tax Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

+ Manage the collection and review of multi-jurisdictional foreign tax packages.

+ Review the foreign provision to return adjustments and verify tax account balances are accurate.

+ Prepare U.S. federal taxable income workpapers to support the ASC 740 and IRS filings.

+ Analyze the nature of trial balance accounts for U.S. book to tax differences.

+ Assist with the preparation of the Company’s global income tax provision and related financial statement disclosures.

+ Assist with maintaining workbooks that support the quarterly provision, including uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance assessments, and consolidated income statements and balance sheets.

+ Perform and document procedures for internal controls to comply with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements.

+ Initiate process improvements through tax technology (e.g., OneSource, Oracle, SAP, HFM, Power Query, etc.).

+ Prepare and reconcile U.S. fixed asset data for tax reporting purposes.

Skills You Bring:

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 3+ years of job-related work experience

+ Strong proficiency in Excel

Preferred Skills:

+ Master’s degree

+ CPA certification

+ Experience in OneSource Tax Provision and Hyperion

+ History working with/in multi-national corporations

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

+ Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

+ Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination

+ Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information

+ The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

+ Operates in a professional office environment

+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

+ Noise level in the work environment is usually average

This position is Hybrid and must be within commutable distance to our location in Andover MA. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
