12 Step & Alumni Coordinator- Recovery and Wellness

Work location: Addiction Recovery Center 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063
Work hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, Mornings, some evenings

Here's What You Need
* H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of Human Services experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in related field with 1 year of Human Services experience preferred
* 2 Years of Human Services or Chemical Dependency treatment experience required
* Recovery candidates with at least 2 years of sobriety preferred
* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required And
* CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req And
* AHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification 90 Days Req
* LCDC - Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor upon hire preferred
What You Will Do
* Assist clients in completing 12-Step work while in treatment, offering guidance and support through each phase.
* Conducts educational group sessions utilizing material from recovery support groups in the community, i.e. Smart Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, etc
* Facilitates meetings, events, and community service activities for alumni groups. Develops and leads team in building a solid and lasting alumni program.
* Provide individual, family, and group counseling using modalities consistent with ARCTH philosophy.
* Coordinate care with interdisciplinary treatment teams, physicians, and external providers.
* Develops and maintains the Alumni Database.
* Conducts post-discharge follow-up call for recently discharged clients.
