Job Description:
**JOB TITLE** : Tactical Intelligence Family of Systems SME, TS/SCI Clearance, Fort Hood, TX
**SUMMARY** : System Engineer Senior, DCGS-A Subject Matter Expert - Fort Hood, TX - TS/SCI Clearance Required. Primarily supports software for the DCGS-Army Family of Systems: IFS, P-MFWS, GWS, TGS, CDSS to include future replacement systems.
How the DCGS Engineer will make an impact:
+ Initialize, place into operation and troubleshoot the software interfaces of specific C5ISR communication systems being supported (ex. IFS /P-MFWS/GWS/TGS/CDSS).
+ Conduct software installations, configurations, patching and maintenance of DCGS-A family of systems.
+ Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of Linux and Windows operating systems.
+ Provide informal training and software mentorship.
+ Provide software, hardware, network troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
+ Assist with remote system administration software to include troubleshooting and installation.
+ Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations.
+ Participates in special projects as required.
What you'll need to be successful:
+ BA/BS, 5+ years’ experience. (4 years of additional work experience may be substituted for an BA/BS. Degree)
+ Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a CI Poly if required.
+ Valid CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
+ Experience with Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintaining.
+ Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration.
+ Some travel is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
