    Description

    The IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of AP’s IT infrastructure. This includes providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing hardware and software deployments, and actively contributing to the company’s cybersecurity posture. The role is highly collaborative and will support both office and field operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    IT Support

     

    + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

    + Install and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals

    + Manage user accounts, access permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes

    + Track and document support tickets and resolutions

     

    Cybersecurity Exp– School Experience or Certs will work

     

    + Monitor systems for threats and suspicious activity

    + Assist with firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection implementation

    + Support vulnerability assessments and patch management

    + Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices and phishing prevention

    + Respond to incidents and assist with forensic investigations

     

    Systems & Infrastructure

     

    + Help maintain secure cloud and on-premise environments

    + Support VPNs, switches, wireless access points, and other network components

    + Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

    Qualifications

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

    + Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, ideally in a construction or multi-site setting

    + Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, MFA, endpoint protection)

    + Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking – Intune, Mole

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    + Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
