    + 6+ years in customs/trade compliance managing large US import compliance programs for professional service / fortune 500 / high tech companies/large shipping, transportation, Supply Chain companies

    + Hands on experience with Import Classification and HTS Codes

    + Experience with classification of imports for US

    + 3-5 Years of experience with FTZ From a Broker/Import Perspective.

    + Leveraging Excel and SAP (or other large ERP systems) for classification and driving KPI/data analysis

    Description

    + Support the Clients Global Trade classification program and other classification teams globally.

    + Conduct classification analysis to arrive at an accurate HTS by using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and other classification tools.

    + Maintain & monitor previous part classifications in SAP-GTS to ensure consistent and valid tariff numbers.

    + Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.)

    + Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance.

    + Perform global classification and duty analysis on clients products.

    + Lead global classification audits and root cause any errors.

    + Manage classification specific projects as assigned.

    + Create and maintain process and procedures.

    + Create effective and clear communication with stakeholders (Emails, Presentations, etc.)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
