    The Role:

    The Maintenance Technician is to perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the venue. This position will perform a variety of skilled duties as necessary.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    - General understanding of plumbing, refrigeration, electrical and carpentry.

     

    - Perform general maintenance and repairs in various areas, including plumbing, refrigeration, electrical and carpentry.

     

    - Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.

     

    - Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

     

    - Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and landscaping.

     

    - Coordinate with contractors about repairs.

     

    - Perform routine electrical repairs and installations such as changing or replacing light bulbs, repairing ballast and light fixtures.

     

    - Perform routine plumbing repairs and fixing water leaks.

     

    - Perform other maintenance related tasks such as painting, masonry, assembling furniture, hanging pictures, bulletin boards, etc.

     

    - Help move furniture as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    - Strong knowledge and ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.

     

    - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and machinery.

     

    - Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices to ensure proper upkeep of venue.

     

    - Ability to maintain a high level of customer service while addressing maintenance requests.

    COMPENSATION:

    $26/Hour
