    The Sr. Drive System Engineer will provide technical leadership in the application of Variable Systems in Naval, Commercial Marine, and General Industries.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Define system requirements based on customer specifications and project objectives.

    + Conduct system-level simulations and analyses to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Also, perform system-level testing and validation to verify functionality and performance.

    + Plan and execute drive system upgrades

    + Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate subsystems and components into the overall system design.

    + Ensure the earliest mobilization of adequate engineering skills and resources in line with engineering activities requirements (workload and complexity) and associated budgets.

    + Issue/prepare change orders from an engineering point of view with the Project Manager for further release to the Customer.

    + Ensure proper distribution of engineering documents, internally and externally.

    + Participate in CMR (Change Management Review), Project reviews.

    + Provide oversight and training to other engineers in the application of Variable Speed Drive systems

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 10 years of experience in Engineering

    + Minimum of 5 years of advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering.

    Desired Characteristics

    + Strong oral and written communication skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

    + Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
