    Job Summary

    As a Sr. Analyst specializing in Cyber Security, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our companys digital assets. With a hybrid work model you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security threats. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data contributing to the companys mission of providing secure and reliable services.

    Responsibilities

    + Analyze and evaluate security threats to ensure the protection of company data and systems.

    + Develop and implement security measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access.

    + Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security protocols into existing systems and processes.

    + Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond promptly to potential security breaches.

    + Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.

    + Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for maintaining cyber security.

    + Stay updated with the latest cyber security trends and technologies to enhance the companys security posture.

    + Create detailed reports on security incidents and propose strategies for future prevention.

    + Work closely with management to align security initiatives with business objectives.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cyber security.

    + Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.

    + Lead incident response efforts to minimize impact and prevent recurrence of security breaches.

    + Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to improve defense mechanisms.

    Qualifications

    + Possess a strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.

    + Demonstrate expertise in identifying and mitigating security threats.

    + Have experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

    + Show proficiency in conducting security audits and assessments.

    + Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Have excellent communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Be familiar with industry standards and regulations related to cyber security.

    Certifications Required

    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until September 29, 2025

     

    The salary for this position is between $95,000–$105,000 per year, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
