• Emergency Medicine Physician - Contract Position

    Salary: $3300 / Week

    A newly constructed, state of the art emergency department is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a 1099 contract role. This opportunity offers a modern clinical environment, strong specialty support, and flexible scheduling.Position Overview

    + Contract Type: 1099

    + Annual ED Volume: ~21,000 visits

    + Trauma Level: III

    + Compensation: Weekly & Competitive

    + Travel & Lodging: Flights, Hotel, Rental Car & Gas or Mileage Reimbursement for Personal Vehicle

    + Malpractice: Covered

    + EMR: Cerner

    Responsibilities

    + Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients

    + Collaborate with NP/PA team and specialty consultants

    + Deliver care in a 9-bed ED, including fast track

    + Support continuity of care with inpatient and ICU teams

    Qualifications

    + MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine

    + Active Louisiana state license (or ability to obtain)

    + Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA credentials

    + Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

    Schedule & Coverage

    + 24-hour physician coverage

    + 10-hour NP/PA coverage daily

    + No call responsibilities

    + No Holidays
