    Job Description:

    Job Summary

    Serves as an adjunct subject matter expert in providing direction for maintaining the database for housing nursing subcontracted provider's credentialing and contracting documents. Administers the scheduling module for tracking all nursing visits and assists with tracking of clinical documentation from the field. Authorizes nursing visits to ensure accurate processing of nursing billing and invoices for timely payment.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Manages the subcontract mailbox, file attachments per process flow, and manage the mailbox distribution list.

    + Assesses agency compliance with credentialing documents and distribution lists; processes contracts from initial data entry through contract finalization, as directed and per protocol.

    + Coordinates and maintains educational in-service and orientation tracking for agency field clinicians.

    + Manages workflow processes within contracting application.

    + Administers and ensures timely scheduling of agency visits; follows-up with missing clinical documentation to ensure complete medical records, and timely processing of nursing billing and invoices for payment.

    + Authorizes all nursing visits to the nursing providers, tracks expiring authorizations and communicates the need for further authorization to the insurance verification team.

    + Maintains physician order tracking program and runs required reports per schedule and works them to completion in a timely manner.

    + Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate.

    External Basic Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED.

    + 2 years' work experience in healthcare, customer service or related field.

    + Experience working with contracting and contract administration.

    + Relevant experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, home health care.

    + Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner.

    + Strong initiative with the ability to work in a team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field of study

    + Experience working in contracting databases, primarily SalesForce

    + Pharmacy Technician License

    An employee in this position can expect an hourly rate between $12.38/hour and $26.40/hour.
