Job Title: Dealer Lending Manager

Job Type: Full-time

The Dealer Lending Manager is responsible for managing the assigned territory(s) of the Dealer Direct Program for the Credit Union. Works directly with dealerships to secure and maintain productive relationships. Accountable to the Dealer Business Development Manager for overall success of the program.

Responsible and Accountable for:

+ Dealer direct loan results

+ Production results versus assigned goal

+ Maintaining acceptable portfolio quality

+ Program management

+ Product/program improvements

+ Monitor, review & develop dealer performance metrics

+ Developing assessments & recommendations for loan pricing, dealer reserve structure, credit policy guidelines, and credit processing

+ Dealer relationship management

+ Recruitment of new dealers into the program

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Extensive knowledge in indirect automobile financing.

+ Successful track record in dealer lending either as a buyer or F&I manager.

+ Availability after-hours and on weekends to field dealer phone calls

+ Ability to travel as needed.

Education and Experience:

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

+ Experience: Approximately three to five years of progressively more responsible job-related experience.
