This role is critical to maintaining the performance and safety of our heavy equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **motor graders and excavators** , and be capable of performing **off-rental inspections** , **major repairs** , and **welding/fabrication tasks** .

Requirements: 

+ Perform comprehensive inspections on off-rental equipment to assess condition and readiness for redeployment

+ Diagnose and execute major repairs on motor grades, excavators, and other heavy machinery.

+ Carry out welding and fabrication tasks to restore or modify equipment components

+ Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed.

+ Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience as a shop technician, preferably in construction environments.

+ Strong mechanical knowledge of motor graders and excavators.

+ Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques.

+ Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
