    Legal Operations Analyst

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Textron is seeking a dynamic and motivated Legal Operations Analyst to join our world\-class legal department comprised of highly collaborative lawyers and legal professionals\. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting technology and process for the legal enterprise, including vendors, alternative service providers, and outside counsel ensuring technical tools adequately support our legal community\.     The selected candidate will serve as liaison between Textron’s Legal Department, IT, Financial Shared Services Center, and third parties supporting legal processes\. The candidate will be responsible for managing requests from users, outside counsel, and vendors supporting the legal enterprise, while working directly with attorneys, legal professionals, and other functions at Textron’s World Headquarters in Providence \(RI\) and throughout Textron’s network of businesses\.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    System Administration:

    + Works with users and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues in a timely manner\.

    + Collaborates with team members to plan, develop, and deploy system enhancements, including researching and testing of plausible solutions\.

    + Owns the TeamConnect user support mailbox and has primary responsibility for managing requests, resolving issues, and escalating problems as necessary\.

    + Manages the provisioning process and maintenance for internal and external users\. Monitors volume of user licenses deployed\.

    + Manages process for onboarding new vendors and timekeepers\. Serves as primary point of contact for electronic billing vendors and partners with FSSC team\.

    + Supports development of processes and procedures for use of the system, including user acceptance testing through the development of test scripts and use cases\.

    + Manages TeamConnect administration handbook, production deployment log and troubleshooting log\. Maintains SharePoint site for training materials\.

    + Ensures data integrity through evaluation of data for inconsistencies and production of audit reporting for users\.

    Legal Operations:

    + Aligns with Legal Operations objectives to advance the use of technology and improve legal enterprise performance\. Supports related strategic projects\.

    + Generates and compiles ad hoc reports using Excel and Business Objects, ensuring accuracy of financial and matter data\.

    + Conducts training and develops/updates training materials\.

    + Develop and report key process metrics as requested\.

    + Assists with data analytics and research in support of legal operations\.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    + Minimum 5 years prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or analyst role supporting multiple individuals in a law firm or legal environment\.

    + Experience with system administration, including user support, vendor management, and reporting preferred\.

    + Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required; completion of secretarial training, paralegal training, accounting/bookkeeping training, associate degree, or bachelor's degree preferred\.

    + Coursework in project management, legal studies, or information technology a plus\.

    Skills/Competencies:

    + Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships\.

    + Experience and success with working as part of a team\.

    + Detail\-oriented and highly organized

    + Service\-oriented and dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers\.

    + Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office suite, with willingness and ability to learn new technologies as necessary\.

    + Robust verbal and written communications skills\.

    + Working knowledge of Business Objects a plus\.

    + Working knowledge of LEDES format and UTBMS codes a plus\.
