The Pharmacy Informaticist plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Informatics Analyst with Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Beacon certification and a strong pharmacy background. This role is critical to supporting our clinical and operational teams by optimizing medication-related workflows and ensuring safe, efficient use of Epic systems.

Pharmacy Informaticist Details
Essential Job Duties:
+ Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing, and IT teams to design, build, test, and implement Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Beacon workflows.
+ Analyze and improve medication-use processes within Epic to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
+ Provide ongoing support for Epic-related pharmacy applications, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimization.
+ Support and maintain other pharmacy-related technology solutions, including:
+ IV pumps and IV preparation systems
+ Pharmacy inventory management systems
+ Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and related products
+ Participate in cross-functional project teams and contribute to strategic planning for informatics initiatives.
+ Translate clinical and operational needs into system requirements and configurations.
+ Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user support tools.
Qualifications:
+ Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Beacon certification required.
+ Licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician with informatics experience preferred.
+ Strong understanding of inpatient medication workflows and clinical decision support.
+ Experience with pharmacy automation and inventory systems is highly desirable.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Experience with data analysis, reporting, and system testing is a plus.
Work Environment:
+ Remote work options available. Preferred schedule includes in-office presence 1 day per week (1/5 days).
+ 100% remote work is possible with the understanding that onsite presence may be required based on project needs (e.g., go-lives, stakeholder meetings, system testing).
