    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Pipe Welders** for a project located in and around **Freeland, WA** . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of **up to** **$36/hour** based on experience plus **$164/Per Diem to** travelers 60+ miles from the job site.     Job Scope:

    + Preparation and layout

    + Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, drawings and piping schematics

    + Prepare and align pipe joints for welding, beveling, cleaning, fitting and tack welding

    + Select correct filler metals, consumables and welding processes

    + Welding fabrication

    + Perform welding on a variety of piping systems, fuel, lube oil, hydraulics, fire main, potable water and steam

    + SMAW, stick, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, MIG and FCAW Fluxcore

    + Installation, repair and weld pipe spools, flanges, brackets and support for shipboard systems

    + Repair cracked, damaged or corroded piping and fittings

    + Perform hot-work aboard vessels

    + Inspection, testing and conduct visual inspections of welds for defects

    + Prepare welds for non-destructive testing such as xray, dye penetrant, ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspection

    + Repair and/or re-weld as necessary

    Requirements

    + Minimum of 3+ years of Marine Welder experience
