Overview
What does Zenith Analytics do?
Working closely with both the Business Planning and Activation teams, Analytics designs the data strategy to tie our clients’ marketing to real-world business goals. We mine that data to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re reaching the right people, with the right creative, in the right way.
What does a successful Senior Analyst look like?
We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of our team at Zenith:
+ Bring curiosity and the ability to quickly learn new platforms and methodologies
+ Are motivated to turn raw numbers into meaningful insights that influence tactical and strategic decisions
+ Can transition fluidly between detail-oriented data work and the bigger strategic story
+ Understand – or are eager to understand – the differences between paid social, programmatic, and direct media buying
+ Are highly organized self-starters who can juggle multiple workstreams without losing track of details
Among Sr. Analyst candidates, we generally look for prior experience in media analytics and research, especially digital media.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in media analytics, research, or digital marketing
+ Strong organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
+ Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word)
+ Comfortable working in at least one media platform (ex. CM360, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, GA4, etc)
+ Strong critical thinking skills – able to move beyond reporting “what happened” to explaining “why it matters”
+ Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
+ Some familiarity with lift or incrementality studies
+ Understanding of the media ecosystem (social, programmatic, direct buys) and how KPIs differ across them
+ Exposure to dashboards (ex. Tableau/Looker Studio)
+ Experience working with third-party partners (Nielsen, Kantar, DISQO, etc)
