    Financial Specialist Intern

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

    + Assist with cost initiatives and projects;

    + Develop financial visualization to support stakeholders;

    + Analyze cost center spending and value flow (assessments) for consistency with the operational plan;

    + Gain knowledge and understanding of product costing and variance analysis to better support operations;

    + Collaborate with site leadership, operation teams and controllers to ensure drivers of financial impacts are understood.

    WHO YOU ARE

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    + Pursuing a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics;

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerBi.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Demonstrate alignment with Bayer’s Values;

    + Excellent ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and with individuals from various parts of the organization;

    + Motivated, self-starting individual with proven ability prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.

     

    Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.10 to $28.50. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
