Position: Associate Art Director

What You Will Do:

As Associate Art Director at Altra, you’ll support the creative team in bringing our brand to life across a variety of channels including digital, retail, eCommerce, social media, and live events. You’ll assist in designing visual assets, prepare production-ready files, and contribute to brainstorms and concept development. Working with the senior creative team, you’ll grow your skills in campaign development, photo shoot pre/post-production and social-content execution, in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

How You Will Make a Difference:

• Work under the direction and guidance of Senior Art Directors, Associate Creative Directors, and Marketers to provide creative thinking and design across all Altra needs; integrated campaigns, website assets, landing pages, emails, digital banners, social media, video, print ads and mailers, etc.

• Work independently to execute campaign elements from design through production-ready files.

• Demonstrate extreme attention to detail across all work.

• Assist eCommerce product photography shoots.

• Meet with traffic manager/production manager/marketing as required to ensure timely, accurate completion of assigned projects.

• Always meet established deadlines.

• Perform occasional additional duties as deemed appropriate by the creative team leaders.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your **1-3+ years' experience in an agency or in-house Art Direction, Graphic Design or Production Design Role.**

Requirements:

• Online portfolio must show strong conceptual and design skills.

• Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced creative team environment.

• Ability to manage workload, deadlines and schedule with guidance and supervision.

• Proficient in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat).

• Able to build, design and maintain presentations (Using Microsoft PPT)

• Eagerness to learn digital best practices and responsive design.

• Attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and a growth mindset in the process of making and presenting great work.

• Willingness and ability to take direction from senior team and apply constructive criticism to your work.

• Proactively seek out improvement, training and growth opportunities.

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of social platforms and ability to shoot/edit content.

• Ability to learn/explore additional creative software such as Figma, Procreate, After Effects.

• Interest or skill in animation/motion graphics.

Hiring Range** **:

$58,752.00 USD - $73,440.00 USD annually

**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
