    Job Description

    ISS Governance, Risk & Controls is seeking an experienced Risk Manager specializing in securing AI. This role will be expected to dig deep into Enterprise AI adoption, to assess security risk and threats and help the organization prioritize the right activities to secure AI use cases. Candidates will partner with Information Security program ownership & Enterprise development teams to support the strategic adoption of AI, keeping in mind the security risk & compliance obligations of a large-scale Financial Services institution.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of technology architectures for AI applications, and experience assessing AI-specific risks and/or implementing AI-specific risk mitigations to support information security objectives within Enterprise SDLC and/or DevSecOps constructs.

    Responsibilities:

    + Work with Enterprise partners to identify and drive implementation of AI-related risk mitigation activities (security tooling, software/model inventory, SDLC processes, etc.)

    + Assess the security risk associated with Enterprise adoption of AI business cases

    + Evaluate new AI technologies for their ability to mitigate security risks and meet compliance requirements

    + Identify and help to manage constraints associated with Enterprise adoption of AI business cases

    + Coordinate necessary security enhancements to mitigate risks of AI adoption

    + Provide SME input and guidance to document and prioritize security risk reduction

    + Provide recommendations for enhancements to increase AI program effectiveness

    + Assist in the development of risk metrics relevant to AI adoption within the Enterprise

    Experience Should Include:

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience

    + 5+ years experience with information security governance or risk management roles

    + 5+ years experience with independent assessment and/or audit in the technology space

    + Working knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices

    + Strong internal initiative, desire to collaborate

    + Demonstrated knowledge of information security concepts and architecture

    + Roles with exposure to emerging technology/strategic initiatives

    + Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

    + Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    + Strong writing skills with experience in documenting gap analyses and team documentation

    + The ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse technical and non-technical teams

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    + A diverse technical background including experience with regulatory requirements, technologies and controls that mitigate information security risks

    + Experience in Information Security architecture, technologies, and management

    + Experience in IT governance, standards, procedures, and policy

    + Experience using reporting with advanced BI tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI

    + Experience using GRC tools such as RSA Archer or ServiceNow

    + Knowledge of AI industry development and trends

    + Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)

    + Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)

    + Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)

    + Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

    + Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
