WSP is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. This position will be based at our client’s office in Los Angeles. This is a full-time onsite position.

Your Impact

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Developing, managing, and/or overseeing critical path method schedules using Primavera P6 in support of client’s Program including design and construction of rail transit projects.

+ Assess, identify, and provide recommendations and corrective actions to resolve schedule changes, scope changes, and variances, to the Project Team and Executive Management.

+ Coordination with project teams to analyze and assess reporting, identify risk, and create accurate forecasts.

+ Responsible for Developing, updating and analyzing detailed execution schedules for projects being executed independently and simultaneously.

+ Establish baseline schedule: summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, and resource histograms.

+ Review periodic CPM Updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.

+ Perform Earned Value analysis reports.

+ Schedule Change Management. Review of change orders.

+ Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays.

+ Provide recommendations for schedule recovery. Recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.

+ 12 years of experience in developing and managing project Schedules.

+ Transportation or transit construction experience required

+ Experienced with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.

+ Project financial forecasting skills.

+ Change Order and Extension of Time analysis.

+ Experience working with cross-functional teams.

+ Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.

+ Effective reporting and communication skills.

+ Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.

+ Building Construction and or project management experience

+ Team player and Strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Salary: $190,100-250,150
