    Job Summary and Qualifications

     

    The Sr. IAM Security Engineer (IRE), within Identity Foundations, is a highly skilled and security-focused Infrastructure Recovery Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Identity & Access Infrastructure located in the HCA Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE). This role is critical to ensuring our organization can recover securely and efficiently from cyber incidents, including ransomware attacks and infrastructure failures.

     

    + Design and maintain a secure, isolated recovery environment for critical infrastructure and data restoration.

    + Technical Lead of recovery operations during cybersecurity events, including system restoration and validation of Tier 0 Systems for Identity & Access.

    + Develop and maintain runbooks and recovery playbooks for IRE activation and operations.

    + Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business continuity teams to align IRE capabilities with enterprise recovery objectives.

    + Conduct regular testing and simulations of disaster recovery scenarios within the IRE.

    + Monitor and audit access controls to ensure strict isolation and compliance.

    + Stay current with emerging threats, recovery technologies, and best practices

    + Administer and maintain “Tier 0” infrastructure for Active Directory and supporting tools and services.

    + Monitor and support Active Directory “Tier 0” infrastructure and services to ensure optimal uptime and performance to meet business requirements.

    + Participates in an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based solutions, cross-training, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and service excellence.

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + Three or more years administering Active Directory in a Multi-Domain Environment

    + Five or more years of administering Windows Server OS

    + FIve or more years of experience supporting physical server-class infrastructure

    Licenses, Certifications and Training

    + Microsoft Certification: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent knowledge

    + Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Identity and Access Associate or equivalent knowledge

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors

    + **Isolated Infrastructure:** Strong understanding and experience with server virtualization technologies, air-gapped systems, zero-trust architectures, and network segmentation.

    + **Active Directory:** Working knowledge of: Authentication methods and protocols - Kerberos, NTLM, and LDAP; LDAP Queries, DNS workflows and records; Group Policy Objects; Tier 0 concepts, Security AD.

    + **Windows Server:** Windows Server OS – 2016 and above; Windows Server Core Edition; PowerShell; Command Line skills

    + **Incident response frameworks:** Functional understanding of structured, industry standard methodologies that guide over the process of detecting, responding to, and recovering from cybersecurity events – NIST SP 800-61; SANS Incident Response Process; MITRE ATT&CK Framework; ISO/IEC 27035.

    + **Service and Quality Excellence:** Ability to demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional care to create an unmatched value proposition for our patients.
