• Recording Media Analytical Engineer

    **Our client, a leader in data storage and materials analysis, is seeking a Recording Media Analytical Engineer to join their team.** As a Recording Media Analytical Engineer, you will be part of the Materials Science Lab supporting the analytical testing and research teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

    **Job Title:** Recording Media Analytical Engineer

     

    Pay Range: TBD

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Prepare and handle acidic and basic chemical solutions, including calibration standards

    + Perform aqueous extractions to prepare samples for analysis

    + Clean laboratory glassware and ensure a clean, organized work environment

    + Operate analytical instruments, with emphasis on Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)

    + Troubleshoot instrumentation and assist with method development as needed

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Experience in chemistry, including handling acids/bases and pipetting techniques

    + Proficiency in analytical instrumentation, especially ICP-MS

    + Manual dexterity and the ability to perform precise laboratory tasks

    + Strong focus and attention to detail in sample preparation and testing

    + Ability to work independently and stay organized in a lab setting
