Compensation: $19 - $22/hr based on experience
Schedule Requirements: Full-time hours with varied shifts. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

About the Role: The Neurology Client Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for Neurology clients and veterinarians referring patients to the Neurology department, providing high quality client communication and education about what to expect while seeing the Neurology Department. This role involves managing client communication, scheduling appointments, coordinating medical records, and ensuring smooth transitions for patients into Neurology. The coordinator also works closely with the hospital team and assists with various administrative duties. Some aspects of this role include -
+ Acting as the primary contact for ongoing Neurology clients and addressing their concerns. Triaging emails, calls, text messaging and voicemails of Neurology clients. Assisting with refill authorization for medications. Receiving and processing medical records requests. Sending complete medical records to clients in accordance with GA state law. Ensuring medical records are sent to referring veterinarians within 48 hours of receiving requests.
+ Assisting clients with scheduling new Neurology consultations, including both referral and transfer cases as appropriate. Obtaining all pertinent medical records prior to Neurology appointments, including new consultations, recheck visits, and transfer cases. Scheduling recheck examinations and Neurology drop-off appointments. Coordinating any necessary consents and deposits for scheduled drop-offs, if required. Checking patients in and out for appointments as needed. Creating and emailing consent forms and estimates, and obtaining CPR/DNR directive with consent forms from clients.

The Ideal Candidate:
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic setting, prior Neurology experience prioritized.
+ Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
+ An understanding and experience with basic veterinary assistant knowledge, including aspects of patient care, medications, diagnostics, and medical record keeping.
+ Attention to detail, with strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and work well in a high-volume, busy practice.
+ Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
