    Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in hardware and software development, is seeking a **Technical Lab Technician** to join their team. As a **Technical Lab Technician** , you will be part of the Hardware Validation Department supporting global validation teams. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title: Technical Lab Technician

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Assemble and perform functional tests on newly designed and incoming boards, including installing sockets, processors, heat sinks, HDDs, and conducting boot tests to ensure functionality.

    + Track the status of tested hardware and deliver it to end users locally.

    + Coordinate shipping and inventory logistics globally, managing boards, hardware, and ASICs as directed by various teams.

    + Utilize protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to isolate and debug hardware issues, resolving first-level and simple board problems.

    + Support setup of systems and infrastructure to facilitate the bring-up of new and existing programs, including imaging HDDs with Windows or Linux images and assisting with lab duties as needed.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + AS/BS Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or equivalent training with 3-5 years of experience.

    + Strong background in computer hardware, software, and PC architecture, with the ability to debug boards and perform moderate soldering.

    + Working knowledge of all Windows operating systems; Linux experience is a plus.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
