    Job Descriptions:

    Sigmatech is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Mid-Senior Multimedia Designer to support multiple USSF Contracts. This role focuses on the creation of high-impact visual content across print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud—particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—and possess strong layout, graphic design, and data visualization skills to clearly communicate complex information.

     

    This position also values experience in video post-production and motion graphics using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The Multimedia Designer will collaborate closely with content creators, marketers, and developers to create materials aligned with mission goals and brand standards. The role demands a strong eye for typography, composition, and consistency within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

     

    + Design professional-grade visual assets, including infographics, reports, presentations, and digital media.

    + Create clean, structured layouts and infographics using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for both print and digital distribution.

    + Produce charts, tables, and data visualizations that enhance clarity and storytelling.

    + Refresh existing content with consistent branding, design enhancements, and polished visuals.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to align visual content with communication objectives.

    + Ensure all designs adhere to established brand guidelines.

    + Support motion graphics and video editing needs using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

    + Stay informed about evolving design trends, accessibility standards, and best practices.

    Required Experience:

    Tasks

    + Translate data and technical information into visual formats such as infographics and presentations.

    + Support the development of educational, marketing, and technical materials across print and digital media.

    + Assist with minor video editing, color correction, titling, and animations.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact multimedia content on schedule.

    + Skills:

    + Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

    + Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills.

    + Ability to conceptualize and produce data-rich graphics (e.g., tables, charts, infographics).

    + Familiarity with applying accessibility guidelines in design.

    + Experience managing competing deadlines and priorities.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Basic video editing and motion design skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (preferred).

    Knowledge:

    + Understanding of branding, user-centered design, and visual hierarchy.

    + Knowledge of accessible design for print and web (e.g., color contrast, alt text).

    + Awareness of UI/UX principles and digital presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).

    + Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) or government creative requirements (a plus).

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Master’s degree preferred. 3+ years of professional experience in multimedia or graphic design required.

    Personnel Certification:

    + Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)

    + Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) for PowerPoint or related tools

    + Section 508 Compliance Certification (a plus)

     

    Clearance Requirement: Secret (Top Secret/SCI eligible preferred)

     

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
