Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our expanding team. This role involves conducting quality control tests on raw materials and final products to ensure they meet the required standards before distribution. Each technician will focus on one product, conducting physical tests to ensure quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct quality control tests on incoming raw materials and final products.
+ Perform physical testing including modulus, FTIR, viscosity particle size analysis, refractive index, UV-VIS colorimetry, and adhesion testing.
+ Maintain a log for the calibration of instruments, ensuring monthly tests confirm instruments are within the calibration range.
+ Collect and analyze data, generating certificates of analysis.
+ Ensure compliance with ISO standards and participate in quality audits.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of experience in a quality control lab environment.
+ Proficiency in QC testing and instrumentation calibration.
+ Experience with FTIR, viscometers, and UV-VIS testing.
+ Ability to document testing results accurately.
+ Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with calibrating laboratory instruments.
+ Experience working in an ISO-certified environment.
+ Exposure to quality audits.
+ Experience working with chemicals or in related fields such as food and beverage.
Work Environment
This position operates within a lab setting in a warehouse facility, working alongside a Lab Supervisor. The shift runs from 7 AM to 4 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. The environment is laidback and flexible, and all team members are required to wear steel-toed boots or shoes. Uniforms are provided if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norcross, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
