    Job Title: Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse (MA/LPN) Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The role involves rooming patients, assisting healthcare providers, preparing and maintaining examination and treatment rooms, cleaning equipment, and potentially answering phones. You will be responsible for rooming up to 25 patients per day.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients and assist healthcare providers.

    + Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.

    + Clean medical equipment.

    + Possibly answer phones and handle patient inquiries.

    Essential Skills

    + Rooming patients and charting.

    + Medical assisting skills.

    + LPN licensure and skills.

    + Medical Assistant Diploma or completion of a state-approved LPN program.

    + Up-to-date licensure with the Board of Nursing.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

    + Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Medical Assistant Diploma is acceptable without certification.

    + Completion of a state-approved LPN program is required for LPNs.

    Work Environment

    This role is primarily based in ENT clinics located in Burnsville (90% of the time) with occasional work at St. Louis Park (10% of the time). The ideal candidate should be able to work in Burnsville and possibly St. Louis Park. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM in Burnsville, and 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM in St. Louis Park. Typically, 2-3 days of training will be provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
