Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will set up and operate plastic braiding machines to produce high-quality industrial hoses. Your role will include inspecting finished products for quality assurance, adjusting machine settings to maintain quality standards, and monitoring gauges and machine operations to ensure smooth production flow. This position is available on the night shift from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate plastic braiding machines.
+ Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Adjust machine settings to maintain quality.
+ Monitor gauges and machine operation for smooth production flow.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in the manufacturing industry.
+ Proficiency in machine operation.
+ Mechanical inclination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or construction is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a smaller, clean shop that can be noisy in some areas due to the machines used to make plastic tubes. Despite the noise, the environment remains clean and industrial.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
