    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling small drones, measuring three feet or smaller, for military and defense applications. The role requires standing on your feet throughout the day and using small hand tools to make and assemble parts and sub-assemblies. Performing quality checks on parts to ensure they are made correctly is a crucial aspect of this position. Following checklists and procedures with a strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble small drones for military and defense applications.

    + Use small hand tools to make and assemble parts and sub-assemblies.

    + Conduct quality checks on parts to verify accuracy and quality.

    + Follow detailed checklists and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Maintain strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude throughout the assembly process.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in medical assembly, medical device, and hand tools.

    + Proficiency in quality control and UAV, UAS, Drone assembly.

    + Familiarity with box builds, RC, MOS codes, and avionics.

    + Understanding of optical payloads, weapons systems, and electrical systems.

    + Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and work with small parts.

    + Experience with small assemblies and tight tolerances.

    + Computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to follow checklists and procedures diligently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Quality certifications such as TS16949, ISO 9001, and AS 9100.

    + Experience with ERP systems, hydraulic and pneumatic assembly.

    + Military experience, medical device assembly, and bench tech skills.

    + Familiarity with RC hobby and avionics.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean, featuring individual work benches. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime is expected.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
