Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outpatient settings. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples, processing them, and ensuring they are properly packaged for testing.
Responsibilities
+ Draw patient blood samples, process them, and package them correctly, approximately 25-30 times per day.
+ Communicate with clinic staff daily to organize and schedule blood draws.
+ Schedule the pick-ups and shipping of samples to the medical testing site.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.
+ Experience in specimen collection and processing.
+ At least 6 months of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.
+ Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.
+ Ability to perform 200 plus solo draws.
+ Knowledge of order of draw and BD Vacutainer order of draw tube colors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm, and candidates must be able to commit to these hours. You will be part of a team wearing navy blue scrubs. While there are about 15 people onsite in Farmington, at individual offsite locations, you may work with 0-3 other team members. The opportunity includes both stationary and float positions, with raises offered at 6 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
