Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Job Description
The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing contract reviews and managing the scope of work for various projects. This role involves the cultivation, review, and selection of subcontractors for each project. The Sr. Project Manager will run meetings both internally and externally, including foreman meetings and meetings with municipalities, while enforcing policies on the job site. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and directing assistant project management staff.
Responsibilities
+ Handle contract review.
+ Manage the scope of work for projects.
+ Cultivate and select subcontractors for each project.
+ Conduct meetings internally and externally, including foreman and municipal meetings.
+ Enforce policies on job sites.
+ Mentor and direct assistant project management staff.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of project management experience in projects over $5 million.
+ Proficiency in Procore.
+ Document control expertise.
+ Experience in construction management, particularly in commercial construction and handling change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in joint venture billing.
+ Project experience over $15 million is advantageous.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a mix of project site and office settings. For school projects, the Project Manager is required to be onsite. The current project is based in Bristol, CT, and will last for the next 2+ years. The company employs 50 people, with an even split between office and labor personnel. The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with two supervisors on site, one handling exterior and one handling interior operations. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr.
