    Job Title: Production Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to monitor and operate plastic injection molding machines. This role involves following detailed production processes, maintaining production cycle times, and ensuring product quality through consistent inspections.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and operate plastic injection molding machines.

    + Follow detailed production processes and maintain cycle times.

    + Inspect products throughout the production cycle.

    + Communicate effectively with teammates and other departments.

    + Adhere to production and safety guidelines.

    + Maintain a positive and coachable attitude.

    + Follow detailed work instructions.

    + Input data into production tracking systems and spreadsheets.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly, production, and general labor.

    + Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, and inspection.

    + Capability to perform data entry and use Excel.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to load machines.

    + Positive attitude and willingness to be coached.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

    + Motivation and initiative to grow within the company.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a production environment with a great atmosphere, where music is part of the daily routine and friendly, motivated coworkers surround you. Headphones are allowed for personal music or podcasts. Enjoy a fantastic work culture with amenities like a pool table in the break room. Note that the department works with adhesives/glue, which has a strong smell, though air quality is safe. The shift runs from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with occasional flexibility required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
