Job Title: Maintenance Technician
1st shift - $32-$36/HR
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment, including conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, and freezers. This role requires prompt responses to system failures, ensuring systems are operational, safe, and efficient.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment and components such as conveyors, pumps, mixers, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, freezers, compressors, and building equipment.
+ Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and communicate any additional work requirements.
+ Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns and manage multiple priorities effectively.
+ Work under limited supervision and maintain flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and adhere to established safety procedures.
+ Install, adjust, and repair packaging equipment to achieve optimal performance.
+ Troubleshoot and analyze problems with machines and systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
+ Ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
+ Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
