Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our assembly department, overseeing daily vehicle manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise a team of 40-60 union employees in the General Assembly department.
+ Ensure vehicle quality and address any non-conformance issues promptly.
+ Complete daily payroll entries accurately and on time.
+ Monitor and improve throughput efficiency across the department.
+ Implement strategies to reduce costs through effective scrap minimization.
+ Resolve departmental problems and employee issues in a timely manner.
+ Manage personnel and handle grievances promptly and effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a manufacturing supervisor or lead, preferably in the automotive industry.
+ Union experience is ideal.
+ Basic mechanical understanding of parts, including the ability to identify bolt and threaded hole sizes and how parts fit together.
+ Strong experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, and supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Lean Six Sigma experience is highly preferred.
+ Experience in a team lead role within quality is advantageous.
+ Manufacturing supervisor or lead experience is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment
Work within the automotive assembly department, with the flexibility to switch between 1st and 2nd shifts every three months. Embrace a work schedule that includes 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 3 PM and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The environment demands a passion for quality and efficiency in vehicle manufacturing.

This is a Contract position based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
