Restoration Technician – Contract to Hire

_Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota_

_Pay: $18-22/hour_

_Hours: 7:00am - 5:00/5:30pm_

_On-call schedule: 5pm-7am one night per week & one weekend per month_

Responsibilities

+ Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, smoke, and mold damage

+ Perform water extraction, structural drying, and site cleanup

+ Assist with demolition, fixture removal, and securing structures

+ Document job progress using photos, notes, and digital tools

+ Maintain vehicles, tools, and safety equipment

+ Participate in rotating on-call shifts (nights/weekends)

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in confined spaces

+ Basic tech proficiency (smartphones, apps, documentation tools)

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Strong work ethic and professionalism

+ Willingness to undergo B.G check and MVR

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor, landscaping, restoration, or photography

+ Experience in construction, IT support, or inspection

+ Bilingual abilities a plus

+ Willingness to travel for disaster response (floods, hurricanes)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
