Traveling Electrical Technician

Join a dynamic team in the automotive manufacturing industry, working alongside engineers to plan and install cutting-edge systems for electric vehicle production. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and collaboration, with opportunities to travel and work directly with clients.

Responsibilities

+ Participate in the planning and installation of custom-built, state-of-the-art systems for EV production.

+ Assemble and start up new EV Drive Train or other production assembly equipment to client specifications.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery, including PLCs, Robots, Controls, HMIs, and electrical wiring.

+ Travel up to 50% of the time for client support and system installations.

+ Work with Fanuc robots, including homing and programming.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of automotive manufacturing experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in automation/controls assembly equipment.

+ Experience in machinery installation, robotics automation, debugging, and commissioning.

+ Knowledge of Siemens controls, programming, and troubleshooting, with robotics experience related to Fanuc or ABB.

+ Mechanical or electrical controls technician experience in installing automated machinery and/or programming PLC controls for commissioning.

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting experience.

+ Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $91936.00/yr.
