Job Summary:

The Moonshot team at Upstate Medical University, part of the Information Management and Technology (IMT) division, is dedicated to solving some of healthcare’s most complex challenges through the use of emerging technologies. We are seeking a motivated and collaborative analyst to support our mission of transforming data into actionable insights through innovative, accessible, and user-centered solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about improving user experience and data visualization. Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving existing Moonshot projects, assisting in our lifecycle management efforts, designing accessible and inclusive tools for our end users, identifying opportunities for increased usability, participating in the certification of data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability, and contributing to the design of future projects by applying UX and product management principles based on iterative design concepts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 3 years relevant information systems (preferably in a health care environment) experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 5 years relevant information systems (preferably in a health care environment) experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Work Days:

M - F 8 - 4:30
