Assembly Test Technician \- Lead

JOB SUMMARY:

Assembly Test Technician Lead will be responsible for supporting all aspects of assembly, and Production testing of both hydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems\.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Fabrication, assembly, and use of test fixtures and rigs

* Assemble and test ball screws, hydraulic actuators, electro\-mechanical actuators\.

* Acceptance testing of hydraulic and/or electromechanical products\.

* Ensure calibration and certification of all instrumentation that is utilized for testing\.

* Support external testing activities at labs as necessary\.

* Perform basic machining operation using drill press, Bridgeport mill, manual deburr and polishing\.

* Blueprint reading and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerances\.

* Use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc\.

* Assign jobs to each Assembly Test Technician in their area\.

* Identify discrepancies in estimated setup and run times and resolve with **Value Stream Leader\.**

* Responsible for document and data control accuracy with respect to job packets and M2M data\.

* Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work area\.

* Assist in training of other Assembly Test Technician\.

* Participate in corrective and preventative activities as required\.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

* High School education or equivalent is required\.

* Associates degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or other related technical disciplines preferred\.

EXPERIENCE:

* **Minimum 3 years of related experience is required\.**
