Job Details Neurointerventional Advanced Practice Provider - NP or PA Neurointerventional surgery is practiced by subspecialty-trained neuroradiologists, leveraging expertise in both neurosurgery and radiology, as well as advanced training in image-guided, minimally invasive diagnostic and endovascular surgical techniques. They deliver accurate, targeted treatments to complex and sometimes life-threatening diseases and conditions We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic Neurointerventional Department. As an APP, you will play a crucial role in the comprehensive care of patients with neurovascular conditions, working closely with the neurointerventional team. This position requires a strong background in neurology, interventional radiology, or neurosurgery, along with excellent clinical and critical-thinking skills. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, delivering high-quality care to patients. Responsibilities: Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough neurovascular assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients with neurovascular conditions, such as strokes, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and vascular stenosis. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with the neurointerventional team to develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, imaging results, and patient preferences. Assist in performing neurointerventional procedures, including thrombectomies, coiling, embolization, angioplasty, and stenting. Administer conscious sedation and closely monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Patient Management and Follow-Up: Collaborative Care: Research and Quality Improvement: Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic results, treatment plans, and progress notes Ensure compliance with institutional and legal requirements for documentation and record-keeping. Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing or a relevant field from an accredited program. Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) license and certification. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in neurology, interventional radiology, or neurosurgery. Strong knowledge of neurovascular diseases, interventions, and procedures. Exceptional clinical and critical-thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with the healthcare team and educating patients. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology. Certification: Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification (ACNP) BLS/ACLS/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations: American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program No online programs from any organization will be accepted. DEA registration required for those with discharge responsibilities. Salary Range USD $69.54 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
