Job Summary:
The Business Administrator supports the finance activities for Mobility Energy Business Division (MEBD) utilizing their report preparing and administrative coordination skills. This role will be responsible for supporting all financial and administrative activities within MEBD. **Bilingual English and Japanese required.**
Essential Duties:
Report Preparation
+ **Collect and schedule management of actual and projected management figures submitted monthly from multiple business division locations including U.S. and Japan.**
+ Prepare various reporting materials in English and Japanese based on the compiled figures and consolidate internal reporting materials for corporate executives to support business decision-making, including tasks related to annual business plan formulation.
Schedule Management
+ **Ensure quarterly and monthly financial packages (statutory and management consolidation) are prepared by each business site in a timely manner.**
+ Coordinate and follow up with each site as directed by the Accounting and Finance functions in Panasonic Holdings Corporation, Panasonic Energy Co., Ltd., and Panasonic Corporation of North America.
Project Coordination
+ Participate in discussions and coordination with accountants regarding the overall accounting process for specific transactions in the U.S., and support the implementation into accounting practices, including establishing operational workflows at each location (e.g., handling IRA grants and state government subsidies).
+ Participate in various projects in the U.S. and provide support from an accounting and finance perspective by coordinating with internal teams and external parties.
+ Partnering with the Japanese Production Engineering team, implement cost and schedule management and establish operational workflows at the Kansas site to ensure proper asset recognition.
+ Prepare reporting materials to the corporate executives for non-finance matters, but other business-related needs.
Other
+ **Liaise between Panasonic Holdings Corporation, Panasonic Energy Co., Ltd., Panasonic Corporation of North America and other Panasonic entities, and pursue any administrative tasks as the point in contact for the PECNA Central Finance team.**
+ Other responsibilities may be assigned by leadership as required including but not limited to, translating, organizing documents, and processing invoices.
+ Occasional business travels may be required between sites.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
+ To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
+ Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or related field
Essential Qualifications:
+ **Must have working-level knowledge of the English and Japanese languages, including reading, writing, and speaking in both languages**
+ Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets and database functions, as well as Word and PowerPoint
+ **Ability to interpret and understand procedures and governmental regulations in accounting principles**
+ Capable of handling confidential information in a responsible manner
+ Ability to respond to inquiries from internal customers in a respectful and timely manner
+ Flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities
+ Ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members and members of other departments
